Hey there! I opened Ceremony in June 2014 with the intention of creating a space that would honor the magical relationship between the stylist and the human sitting in their chair. I sought to create a safer space for clients to be seen and the stylist to thrive. I am beyond grateful for the amazing stylists who are and have been a part of it, as well as all of our loyal clients who trust us with their hair.

After attending art school for graphic design and illustration, I soon realized that sitting at a quiet desk all day was not for me. While figuring out my next move, I started cutting my friend’s hair for fun and decided to get my license to become a professional stylist in 2005.

Always curious, I have tried many facets of the industry from working with clients, styling hair at New York Fashion Week, taking and teaching classes, to salon ownership.

As a cutting specialist, I enjoy creating shapes that are easy to wear, enhance my clients’ personal style, and grow out with ease.
